Michael Berman
Founder & CEO
Michael Berman has been practicing law for over 10 years. Mr. Berman was General Counsel for Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc., a publicly traded information technology company on the NASDAQ. Mr. Berman has worked as general counsel for Tecniflex, Inc. and Imagic Corporation. He graduated from Cornell University with a B.S. in Communications, and holds a J.D. degree from the University of Tennessee. In law school, he was a member of the Executive Board of the Tennessee Law Review, and won the National Evidence Moot Court Competition. During Mr. Berman’s legal career, Mr. Berman has obtained extensive experience in managing agreements and working with information management systems.
Kimberli Sheets
Executive VP/Sales
Kimberli Sheets has over 22 years of combined experience in
the banking and financial services industries. Prior to her work at
Network Contract Solutions, Ms. Sheets was Chief Sales Officer of the
Eastern Region Bancvue Ltd. From 2000 to 2006, Ms. Sheets served as Vice
President and Director of Strategic Partnerships for Goldleaf Financial
Services, where she launched new products and implemented strategic
revenue generating networks and partnerships with alternative financing
providers. Ms. Sheets has worked in banking industry in multiple
capacities, including work in savings and loan, national banks, and
community banks, and her last bank industry position was Regional Vice
President for Union Planters. She attended the Omega School of Management
as well as the Omega School of Sales and Marketing, and she is AIB
certified in Retail and Commercial Banking.
Heather Caruso
Executive VP/Paralegal Operations
Heather Caruso has over 15 years experience in providing paralegal services in
multiple industries including technology, manufacturing, financial services and the
federal government. Prior to working with Network Contract Solutions, Ms. Caruso
was a paralegal for Asurion Corporation; Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc. and
Lord Corporation; and a Case Administrator for Michelin North America, Inc. Ms.
Caruso was also a legal assistant with the U. S. Attorney’s Office, assigned to
the Drug & Violent Crimes Task Forces. Private law firm experience includes Wyche
Burgess Freeman and Parham, PA. She graduated from the University of South Carolina
with a B.S. in Psychology and Criminal Justice. She also graduated with honors from
Greenville Technical College with an A.A. in Public Service (Paralegal Studies).
Brian Hiatt
Executive VP/Technology
Brian Hiatt has over 20 years in IT Management with over 10
years in executive IT management. Prior to his work with Network Contract
Solutions, Mr. Hiatt was Chief Information Officer at Drivers Select in
Dallas, Texas. Prior to Drivers Select, Mr. Hiatt served as Chief
Information Officer of Private Business Inc. Mr. Hiatt has worked as Chief
Technology Officer for Tecniflex, Inc. and Imagic Corporation as well as
COO, CIO, and CTO of several other companies. As co-founder and Chief
Information officer of Collectorpro Software, Inc. since 1992, Mr. Hiatt
has significant entrepreneurial experience as well as experience in
startup, turn-around, public/private, and rapid growth companies. Mr.
Hiatt received a degree in Business Management in 1979 from Chattanooga
State College and has multiple technical certifications.

Tom Black
Tom Black is currently the Chief Executive Officer of the Tom Black Center
for Selling. Mr. Black is the author of the book, The Boxcar Millionaire.
Tom Black is an entrepreneur who has founded, purchased, sold, and taken
companies public. Mr. Black served as Chief Executive Officer of Imagic
Corporation, a Nashville-based check imaging software company, and
Tecniflex, Inc., a check processing equipment maintenance and servicing
company. He had previously served as Chief Executive Officer of Private
Business, Inc., which provides an accounts receivable financing solution
to community banks from 1991 until 1998, prior to the company's initial
public offering.
Carl Brasser
Carl Brasser is currently the Chairman of Enhancement Services, LLC. He is
also a Partner of Green Ideas Group. Prior to these positions, Mr. Brasser
was Chairman of Goldleaf Technologies, Inc. Mr. Brasser was one of five
founders of Private Business Inc. (PBI) in 1991, which grew its sales to
more than 1,700 financial institutions nationwide and revenues in excess
of $60 million. Carl was previously a partner in Madison Financial
Corporation, which subsequently became FISI-Madison Financial. Both
companies successfully sold and marketed products to more than 7,000
financial institutions and millions of customers nationwide. Prior to
partnering with Madison Financial Corporation, Carl held a senior position
in the association/group marketing division of CNA Insurance. Carl’s
experience marketing products through financial institution channels spans
more than 25 years.
Joyce Cook
Joyce Cook is the founder and Chief Executive Officer of International
CyberTrans, (ICT) LLC, an electronic transaction processing company, now
with sales offices in 10 states. Prior to ICT, Joyce Cook founded IMA
Payment Systems in 1986 and served as CEO and President until 1999. Under
her tenure, IMA grew from a small startup business to a nationally
recognized and successful sales organization in the electronic credit card
transaction industry. Also, Ms. Cook currently serves on the Atlanta
Federal Reserve Advisory Council. Ms. Cook was one of the founders and
past president of the Electronic Transaction Association, a national
association for the electronic processing industry with over 3,000
members. A Chattanooga native, Ms. Cook graduated with a BS Degree from
University of Chattanooga.
Scott Craighead
Scott Craighead is currently the Chief Financial Officer for National
Distribution & Contracting, Inc., a national medical supplies distribution
company. Previously, Mr. Craighead served as Chief Financial Officer of
Goldleaf Financial Solutions, Inc. Mr. Craighead is a certified public
accountant and with almost ten years of public accounting experience as a
senior audit manager with both Ernst & Young LLP and Arthur Andersen LLP.
Mr. Craighead graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1992 with a
Bachelor of Science in Accounting.
David B. Dunn
Dr. Dunn, Vice President-ZHealth, oversees physician coding and manages
ZHealth operations. He also participates as a regular instructor for
ZHealth educational programs and recently coauthored the Vascular and
Endovascular Surgery Coding Reference in Dr. Z’s Medical Coding Series. A
graduate of Texas A&M University, he completed his M.D. at the University
of Texas, San Antonio, his surgical residency at Scott & White, and his
vascular surgery fellowship at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston. A
diplomat of the American Board of Surgery, Dr. Dunn is also certified in
Vascular Surgery, managing his own private surgical practice for over a
decade. He is a fellow of the American College of Surgeons and a member of
the Southern Association for Vascular Surgery. Dr. Dunn also serves on the
National Advisory Board for the AAPC (American Academy of Professional
Coders).
Jim Fitzsimmons
Jim Fitzsimmons is the Chief Executive Officer of Ingram and Associates
and has more than 22 years of experience in the area of healthcare
financial services-the last 15 in senior executive roles. Jim co-founded
Ingram & Associates with Brent Teveit in 1998, and has been instrumental
in growing the business and building a staff that now includes over 200
healthcare financial specialists. Jim's primary responsibilities include
overall business direction, sales and direction over Ingram's accounts
receivable services operations. Prior to co-founding Ingram & Associates,
Jim was the Division President of IPN Network, LLC, a Nashville-based
company that managed the business offices for 22 hospitals. Jim was in
charge of more than 300 employees and $3 billion in receivables for IPN
clients. Jim also spent several years at First Data Corporation as a
senior executive responsible for the development and management of an
accounts receivable management division. Jim has particular expertise in a
wide range of healthcare financial services, reimbursement management,
customer relations, sales, marketing, and mergers & acquisitions.
William G. Heim
Mr. Heim is currently a Director of 3T Solutions. From 1999 until 2007,
Bill served as President and CEO of 3T Solutions, an issuing, tracking,
reconciliation firm. Under Bill's leadership, 3T formalized the 'total
solution' of customized software, hardware and service and the three
distinct channels of distribution. Before joining 3T, Bill served as
President and CEO of Bankers Resource Group. From 1985 to 1997, Bill was
employed by Cendant, where he held various positions including managing
director of Latin America and the Caribbean.
Hugh Nystrom
Mr. Nystrom is currently the Director of Program Operations and
Development for Childhelp's Tennessee programs. Before his nonprofit
service, Hugh worked for fourteen years for the Walt Disney Company in
leadership positions in sales, marketing and resort management. Mr.
Nystrom graduated from the University of Tennessee in 1989 with a Bachelor
of Science in Finance, and is a recognized leader in the Knoxville
community.
